Introduction

Looking for a therapist for your child, adolescent, or college student can be daunting. Every child's situation and needs are different. I provide a warm, energetic, compassionate atmosphere to help make my clients and their families feel at ease. Whether that means talking while playing pool or talking via telehealth. I believe that when a child is in their element, they are more likely to be receptive to the therapeutic process. This is why our office has several play and activity rooms. I also believe that communication with parents is the key to success, so I communicate frequently with parents via email or with parent meetings. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and specialize with working with children 10+, teens, and college students. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Arlington. I have experience in play and activity therapy, medical specialties, inpatient and partial hospitalization programs, foster care, and drug/alcohol education. My goal is to provide a safe place for your child, teen, or college student to express themselves. I especially love working with families where this is their first counseling experience. My areas of interest are anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, trauma, parent-child relationships, and divorce. Just know that you are not alone in this journey!
