Astrid is a clinical intern at Cumberland Counseling, as well as a second-year student in Antioch New England’s Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program. She brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to her work with individuals, couples, and families. She has completed Level One Training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, equipping her with research-based tools to help couples strengthen communication, deepen connection, and navigate challenges. Before beginning her graduate training, Astrid worked for many years as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children of all ages (24 months-19 years) on the autism spectrum in schools and clinical settings. In that role, she partnered closely with families to foster skill development, resilience, and self-advocacy.
