Introduction

Hi, I'm Asya Little, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and founder of A.M.L. Counseling & Wellness. I work primarily with teens and adults (16+) navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, and the challenges of creating a life that feels authentic to them. Maybe you've always been the responsible one, the high achiever, or the person everyone depends on. On the outside, things may seem fine, but internally, you're struggling with overthinking, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from yourself. Maybe you're learning to set boundaries, processing past experiences, or realizing that the expectations you've been living by no longer fit who you're becoming. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. I incorporate CBT, DBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches to help you better understand your patterns, navigate emotions, strengthen relationships, and make decisions that align with your values. I'm especially passionate about supporting Black women and young adults navigating identity, family dynamics, generational expectations, and life transitions. My goal isn't to tell you who to be or how to live your life, but to help you build the awareness, confidence, and skills to make those decisions for yourself. Whether you're processing the past or navigating a new chapter, therapy with me can be a space to reconnect with yourself and begin creating a life that works for YOU.
