As Henri Matisse once said– Creativity takes courage. Taking that first step towards healing can be scary, but I'm here to help! I work with a wide age range of clients, including children (8+), adolescents, and adults who are seeking therapy services through the creative process of Art Therapy, as well as traditional psychotherapy. I am passionate about working with Anxiety, Depression, Life Changes, Religious Trauma, and life skills. I'm currently under supervision as I work toward obtaining full licensure in mental health counseling and board certification as an art therapist. I have experience working work clients who struggle with substance use, anxiety, depression, BD, BPD, religious trauma, and individuals needing medical art therapy services. I am skilled in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Feministic Theory, and Art Therapy. Acknowledging the need for help and making the decision to reach out to start therapy can be scary and intimidating. I'm an empathetic listener and strive to meet individuals I work with where they are in life. We'll work together to ensure whatever your identified struggles are will be addressed in the work we complete together.
