Dr. Audra Tousaint is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, professor, private practice founder, and clinical expert in neurodivergence and Black women’s mental health. Licensed in Illinois and Louisiana, she brings over 14 years of experience across psychiatric, school, community, and private practice settings, including 8 years as a private practice owner. Her clinical work centers high-achieving Black women navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and the invisible weight of being “the strong one.” Her work is culturally responsive, neurodivergence-affirming, and rooted in helping women move from over functioning and survival mode into regulation, self-trust, and sustainable success. As a professor and clinical supervisor, Dr. Tousaint has spent over 8 years teaching graduate-level master’s students and training emerging clinicians in multicultural care, ethical practice, and culturally grounded clinical work. Her approach blends clinical depth, cultural insight, psychoeducation, and real-life strategy to create a therapy space where Black women feel deeply seen, supported, and empowered.
