Introduction

🌿 About Me 🌿 My name is Audrey, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker offering psychotherapy and clinical supervision in Washington State. My work is grounded in relational, trauma-informed care (drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and nervous system-informed work) and shaped by a feminist, anti-oppressive framework. I understand distress not as a personal failure or something to be "fixed," but as an adaptive response shaped by the body, relationships, and broader systems of power - including capitalism, patriarchy, white supremacy, ableism, and colonial logics. Many of the people I work with are deeply caring, highly attuned, and exhausted from years of holding others while struggling to remain connected to themselves. In our work together, therapy is not about removing you from context, but about understanding yourself more clearly within it - slowing down, listening inward, and making meaning of what you have carried. 🌿 Who I Work With & What Brings People Here 🌿 I work primarily with women (of all backgrounds and identities) navigating life transitions, as well as therapists, caregivers, and helping professionals seeking their own space where they no longer have to perform steadiness or hold everything together alone. Common reasons people seek out this space include: - Nervous system healing and learning how to gently regulate from the inside out - Burnout, emotional exhaustion, perfectionism, and over-functioning - Attachment or relational wounds, and invisible or emotional labor - Grief, unresolved endings, and identity shifts - Life Milestones & Transitions: Early motherhood, marriage, commitment, separation, divorce, career shifts, a new job, or retirement (I also offer clinical supervision for associates pursuing licensure in Washington State, focusing on both clinical development and the emergence of your authentic clinical voice.) 🌿 My Background & Approach 🌿 My clinical background outside of private practice spans community mental health, crisis stabilization, inpatient psychiatric settings, and housing and outreach systems supporting people living at the edges of safety and survival. Across these spaces, I’ve learned to recognize how invisible labor - the quiet, relentless work of anticipating needs, absorbing distress, and holding relational stability in environments that offer no reciprocity - gets dangerously misnamed as being "strong," "capable," or "selfless." Over time, this isn't just exhaustion; it is an erosion. It turns into a profound disconnection from the self, a chronic hypervigilance, and a heavy, quiet collapse where the body and psyche can no longer carry the impossible weight required of them. In the therapy room, I am engaged, relational, and collaborative. I will not rush your process or reduce your experience to a diagnosis. While we hold the heavy context of systemic pressures, therapy here isn’t only about trauma - it’s also about laughter, connection, and hope. 🌿 Begin 🌿 If you feel drawn to this work, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. You do not need to be certain; you only need to be curious about beginning.
