Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Aundrea, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twelve years of clinical experience and more than a decade of working in mental health and community-based support. I began in the world of direct care, and from there my work has taken many meaningful forms—elder advocacy, family therapy, crisis prevention, housing program coordination, Family Centered Treatment, and now private practice. Every role has shaped the kind of therapist I am today: grounded, curious, and deeply committed to creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and safe to grow at their own pace. Our work together will feel collaborative, grounded, and deeply human. I don’t sit back silently or take a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Instead, I show up with presence and curiosity, offering a balance of gentle exploration and practical tools. I draw from modalities like CBT, DBT, somatic/IFS parts work, and motivational interviewing, depending on what fits best for your nervous system, your goals, and your pace. Some sessions might feel reflective and slow; others may be more active and skills-based. Whether we’re having tea in person or meeting online in your coziest space, my intention is always the same: to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you’re free to explore, question, feel, and grow. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You’re here, and that is already a brave step.
