I work with individual and couples who are ready to shift how they relate to themselves and to others. For individuals, much of our work is noticing how you relate to your thoughts and beliefs. Where did they come from? Are they helpful? What would it be like to not believe this thought? Together we will slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and care for the nervous system. For couples, the work is in seeing the relationship as a team effort. I like the analogy of a garden - It requires ongoing attention and care. There will be challenges and that's okay. Can everyone involved commit to tending the relationship? What is getting in the way of that commitment toward care?
