Introduction

I am a licensed professional counselor with a strong background in mental health and allopathic medicine, and with extensive expertise spanning many years. I strive to bring my broad knowledge, training, and skill set to my professional counseling. My counseling/psychotherapy expertise includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health, addictive, coping, and dependency problems. These include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, gambling, psychosis, sleeping problems, and body dysmorphic and eating disorders. I help clients resolve crises, anxiety attacks, emotional trauma, accidents/natural disasters, and financial hardships. I am understanding, compassionate, and experienced in counseling individuals from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, while maintaining a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. I utilize various therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Evidence-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I connect clients with community service and resource agencies that will continue to serve as support systems.
