Anxious, stuck, depressed, afraid. These words may be a few you use to describe your life, keeping you from living the way you want to live. We are here to help you make sense of your struggles, build your strengths, and find peace in the midst of it all. Our counseling practice is approachable and comfortable for people who have never seen a counselor before and those seeking a different therapy experience. Knowing where and how to begin might feel difficult for you, which is why we'll use well-researched and evidence driven approaches to guide us every step of the way. As a licensed and trained DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) Psychotherapist, I practice what I have found to be the most evidence based, effective, and personally meaningful approaches to help you exactly where you are, right now. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship/social issues, life transition, behavioral problems, suicidal or harmful thoughts, or bipolar or disordered personality traits, my practice is designed to provide relief and direction for your specific difficulties. I’m also here to help create the space for you to figure out what it means to be you, who you are, and who you want to be. Together, we can figure out the pieces. I welcome you to come, exactly as you are, right now, and we can move toward the person you want to be and the life you want to live. I look forward to meeting you, whether this is your first experience with counseling or if you are looking for a different approach. Whatever brings you to my office, we can do this together.
