I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and I emphasize the importance of building a warm, trusting therapeutic relationship. Using a person-centered, trauma-informed, and harm reductive approach, I strive to create a supportive space to facilitate vulnerability, reflection, and growth. Each person has unique needs. I tailor my approach and draw from a diverse set of techniques centered on skills building and empowerment. I use a range of evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and somatic work to help my clients create lasting change. I recognize the importance of the whole person and the impact of social, cultural, racial, and gender dynamics on each person’s sense of self and worldview. I find purpose in working with teens (14+) and adults, the LGBTQIA+ community, trauma survivors, and those impacted by substance use. I have experience supporting individuals navigating the impact of trauma, substance use, incarceration, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, communication issues, self-esteem and more. My goal is to support you in breaking cycles and creating meaningful connections with yourself and others.
