Introduction

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling worn out by their own thoughts. Your mind won’t shut off. You replay conversations. You imagine worst case scenarios. You look for relief, but the anxiety or fear always comes back. It can feel scary and lonely. You may even wonder if something is wrong with you. The truth is, anxiety, panic, trauma, and OCD are very treatable. There is a pattern to how they keep you stuck. Once you understand that pattern, you can start to break it. I help adults learn simple, practical skills to calm their nervous system and handle intrusive thoughts differently. You don’t have to fight your thoughts. You can learn how to respond to them in a new way so they lose their power. Relief is possible. You can get back to the life you want to live.
