I support people who are working to unlearn who they were taught to be by family systems, culture, and oppressive structures, and who want to build confidence living as their authentic selves in the world. We can build skills to support you to feel more present and grounded in your body, mind, and spirit—even if you are not sure what you believe or where to start. I incorporate art making, movement, and body-based practices to help you explore your inner world in ways that feel natural and accessible. I work from the belief that you already hold wisdom about your life, and therapy is a shared process where we learn from each other. Together, we slow things down, build awareness, and experiment with new ways of showing up—both for yourself and in your relationships. I aim to normalize the full human experience—the beauty, the hard, and the neutral—without judgment or pressure to “fix” who you are. I prioritize working with BIPOC, queer and transgender people who are deeply impacted by the oppressive systems that try to govern how we exist. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), art therapy, and somatic therapy. I’m also guided by principles of harm reduction,
