Introduction

Are you the one everyone counts on, the one who holds it all together while quietly falling apart inside? Maybe you are a teen who feels like no one really sees what is going on beneath the surface. Either way, you are tired of just getting through the day and ready to understand why you feel stuck instead of working around it. I am a graduate-level clinician completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, providing individual, couples, and group counseling under licensed supervision at A Place for Me Counseling and Coaching. What drew me to this work was watching the people around me, especially women and young people, carry so much without ever having a place to put it down. I wanted to help build that place. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity, and relationship patterns that keep showing up, no matter how hard you try to outgrow them. My approach is integrative, holistic, and culturally grounded, drawing from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, and attachment-based perspectives. I also co-facilitate group programs focused on emotional labor and healing after difficult relationships. Healing is not only about changing your thoughts. It is about reconnecting with your body, knowing who you are, and trusting yourself again. I want to know who you are, not just what is wrong. Your story matters here, and so does the body you carry it in. Reach out for a free consultation, and let's get started.
