Introduction

The world is a stressful place now more than ever. It helps to talk with someone who understands the nuances of your experience and can support you through this challenging time. I am a trauma-focused, strengths-based clinician with 15+ years of experience who will guide and support you throughout your therapeutic journey. I believe trust and open communication are the foundation to a strong therapeutic relationship and I focus on establishing psychological safety and empowering you to create lasting positive change. My practice stems from my work with children, adolescents, and adults in residential treatment, intensive family therapy, domestic violence shelters, and school systems. I use traditional talk therapy with elements of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness techniques. I will help you reach your goals whether they are unpacking traumatic events, managing stress and anxiety, or guiding you through a difficult period in your life. My style is direct and straight-forward combined with compassion and humor. I offer HIPAA-compliant teletherapy with weekday afternoon and evening hours. Please email me for additional information.
