Hi, I’m Aylen Pascual Perez, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). My path into mental health care was shaped by years of experience in medicine and a growing passion for helping individuals navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that often go hand-in-hand with physical health. Over time, I realized that true healing requires addressing the whole person—mind and body—which led me to specialize in psychiatry. I have a strong background in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and substance use disorders, including those seeking support with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially when starting with a new provider or a new specialty, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. My approach to treatment is collaborative and personalized. I take the time to understand your unique experiences, goals, and challenges, and we work together to develop a plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical strategies to improve your daily life. I believe in empowering clients through education, compassion, and consistent support so you can feel more in control of your mental health journey. Whether you’re navigating a difficult period, managing a long-term condition, or simply seeking clarity and balance, my goal is to provide care that is thoughtful, evidence-based, and meaningful. You don’t have to go through it alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
