Ayna enters the therapeutic space with a deep understanding that healing is not linear. She approaches therapy as a collaborative, relational, and compassionate process—one that honors each client’s lived experiences and invites curiosity, self-discovery, and empowerment. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing is not about perfection, but about reclaiming one’s voice, reconnecting with internal wisdom, and moving toward wholeness at a pace that feels safe. As a South Asian woman, Ayna brings a profound cultural awareness shaped by her own experiences with identity, community expectations, and family dynamics. She understands how cultural narratives, generational roles, and unspoken pressures can shape emotional wellbeing, relationships, and self-worth. Much of her clinical work centers on supporting clients of color who are navigating the intersections of culture, race, faith, trauma, and belonging. She is committed to creating a therapeutic environment where cultural nuance is not only understood, but centered—where clients can bring the fullness of who they are without judgment. Ayna works with adults and couples navigating grief, anxiety, postpartum challenges, identity development, domestic and sexual violence, emotional dysregulation, and relational conflict. She is especially passionate about supporting clients who are processing relational trauma, exploring cultural identity, or healing from experiences that have caused them to feel small, silenced, or disconnected from themselves. For clients who wish to bring their spirituality into the room, Ayna also offers faith-based counseling that integrates psychological insight with Christian reflection, grounding the work in compassion, discernment, and emotional safety. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Ayna integrates Narrative Therapy, DBT-informed interventions, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices to help clients understand their internal landscape and cultivate emotional regulation. Her approach is deeply personalized—clients are invited to explore their stories, understand the roles they have played, examine the characters who have shaped them, and consider which patterns may need to shift or be released. This narrative lens empowers clients to reclaim authorship, rewrite limiting narratives, and move toward more aligned and meaningful ways of being. Ayna is also a neurodivergent-affirming therapist with training as a psychometrician, having administered neuropsychological assessments for ADHD and Autism. Her assessment background strengthens her clinical insight and enriches her ability to support clients in understanding both their internal worlds and their neurocognitive profiles. With warmth, attunement, and deep respect for the complexities of cultural identity, Ayna walks alongside clients as they build resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of self—one rooted in authenticity, agency, and hope.
