I’m Azin (she/her), a first-generation Iranian American therapist. I work with adults experiencing overwhelm, disconnection from self, and patterns that feel hard to shift. This can show up as anxiety, trauma (PTSD), neurodivergence, depression, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck during life transitions. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and begin creating meaningful change. I offer a collaborative, compassionate approach grounded in curiosity and accountability. My work is informed by multicultural and systemic perspectives, recognizing that our identities, histories, families, and cultures all shape how we experience ourselves and the world. At the heart of this work is deep listening and being truly witnessed. I integrate art therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, somatic practices, relational work, and evidence-based approaches to support healing that includes both insight and embodied change. Growing up immersed in Persian poetry shaped how I understand healing - that suffering can be transformed into wisdom, beauty, and a deeper relationship with ourselves. As Rumi wrote, “The wound is the place where the light enters you.” Outside the therapy room, I stay connected through art, nature, yoga, ritual, and creative practice. As a highly sensitive person, I’ve learned the importance of slowing down, listening inward, and building a life that honors my nervous system so I can show up more fully.
