Introduction

I am a Black, cis gender, heterosexual, large body, able-bodied, psychologist. My practice is rooted in client-centered, relational, trauma-informed, intersectional, decolonized, and liberation psychology. I am 2SLGBTQQIPAA+, kink/poly+, and gender affirming. While I focus on your priorities and goals, I cannot pretend that oppressive factors in our society don't impact people's experiences and integrate that reality into our work. I use various modalities but all of my work is culturally-responsive and includes anti-oppression interventions and modifications to commonly-known evidence based practices.
