As a therapist, I believe that by partnering with my clients to identify their goals, barriers, and patterns we can work together toward growth and a more fulfilled life. I work with clients who are experiencing trauma, stressful life transitions, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, interpersonal conflicts, low self esteem, and body image issues. I also work with clients who have experienced strict religious communities or religious trauma. I believe that past experiences can impact current life challenges and identifying patterns of behavior can be helpful for growth. For those that have experienced trauma, processing these experiences is important to building a healthier and more fulfilling life. I integrate mind and body work, EMDR, and a trauma-informed approach to assist clients in reprocessing traumatic and stressful experiences. I aim to create a safe space for all clients and actively participate in continued learning in body liberation, queer liberation, and anti- racism in an effort to be inclusive. As a member of the Chicago lesbian community, it’s my mission to create a fully affirming space for my LGBTQ+ clients. Reaching out can be scary and opening up can be tough, but we can take it one step at a time and go at a pace you're comfortable with to help you continue on your journey with more confidence, coping skills, and support.
