In our work together, I want you to know that you are the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you as a guide, helping you navigate life's many difficult, painful, or confusing experiences that may be weighing you down. I enjoy supporting individuals who are struggling with overwhelming thoughts, wanting to better understand their behaviors, and seeking the tools and confidence to make meaningful changes. Therapy is a collaborative process and you are your greatest healer. I tailor my treatment approach to meet each client's individual needs. I specialize in anxiety disorders, relational trauma, communication issues, stress management, LGBTQ+ concerns and gender affirming therapy. I provide a warm and welcoming space and will meet you with curiosity and empathy. My communication style is direct and collaborative. I value humor and bring my shared humanity into the space with us to ensure authenticity and connection. What a gift you've given yourself in taking the first step toward growth and healing - I look forward to meeting you! * * * A little bit about me: I'm Bailie (she/her) a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and also a mother, partner, runner, reader, and Notes app author. Outdoorsy, excitable, people person. I love sunshine, black coffee and nuance. I graduated in 2018 with a Masters in Social Work and then spent two years obtaining my clinical licenses. I began providing psychotherapy in 2020 - prior to this role, I worked in crisis stabilization for about 7 years. This included supporting psychiatric inpatient units, behavioral support in the public school system, and a member of my local county's mobile crisis team. I find deep joy and gratitude in the opportunity to share the burden of life with my clients. The therapy journey requires such trust and courage - I am so often inspired by the resiliency of the human spirit. "Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this, too, was a gift." Mary Oliver, "The Uses of Sorrow" A poem I think of often, both in and out of the therapy chair. I look forward to meeting you.
