Introduction

Hello there! My name is Baochau (I go by Bao). I am a Vietnamese American therapist who is based in Southern California. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem, identity and cultural stress, and relational issues. I like to use various therapeutic approaches to tailor to each client’s individual needs, but some of the approaches I like to use in my practice stem from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. In addition to working with clients from different ages and mental health backgrounds, I also provide therapy for clients from diverse populations, especially those who are from underserved communities. As a therapist who is also a woman of color, I strive to provide culturally sensitive and affirming care for my clients. I look forward to meeting with you and working together to find the type of care that is most suited to your needs. I hope we can use the safe and supportive space together to embark on your journey towards healing and growth.
