I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and have experience in mental health group homes, transitional housing, care management as well as having spent my early career working in schools both here in Western New York and New Jersey. I have worked with a wide range of ages from school age to late adulthood. I utilize an eclectic therapy model, tailoring my approach to fit client needs because no two clients are the same. I find that exercising different strategies—such as CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed approaches, and culturally competent counseling, including the five elements of culturally competent care—helps clients feel safe addressing an array of life’s adversities. I find fulfillment in providing clients with a safe space to explore therapeutic options. This can be through psychoeducation resources, solutions, and counseling exercises. I am willing to provide therapeutic support for any client’s therapeutic need.
