Introduction

Hi, I'm Barry Martin, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) clinician. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy after loss, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I understand that reproductive and family-building journeys often bring identity shifts and unexpected challenges, leaving people feeling overwhelmed, isolated, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted. I have a deep admiration for the strength it takes to move through seasons of loss, uncertainty, and transition. No one should have to carry these experiences alone. Whether you are coping with infertility, grieving a pregnancy loss of any kind, navigating a complicated pregnancy, or adjusting to the emotional demands of parenthood, I strive to provide a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. I recognize that grief and major life transitions often affect every part of a person's life, including relationships, work, identity, and sense of self. My approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I work collaboratively with clients to process difficult emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with their strengths. Drawing from evidence-based practices and a genuine commitment to each person's unique story, I help clients move toward healing while honoring the complexity of their experiences. Seeking support is a courageous step. My aim is to offer empathy, encouragement, and practical tools so that you can find hope, healing, and greater confidence as you navigate this chapter of your life.
