Many of the clients that I work with come to therapy because they are feeling stressed, burned out and like they have little control over their lives. Often the most difficult part of treatment is finding the courage to reach out for help. I specialize in using strength-based practices when working with clients. Together, we can identify patterns contributing to stress, anxiety or unhappiness, and develop practical, values-based goals for meaningful change. I work with a number of clients who are navigating complex life transitions such as graduation, marriage, parenthood, divorce, becoming a care-taker, retirement, and loss of a loved one. I also help adults dealing with chronic pain and medical conditions. I am a psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York with over 20 years of experience. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (MBCT).
