I am passionate about helping others overcome obstacles and take action in their lives. With my professional experience comes a deep understanding of how trauma, relationships, and culture can influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Major life transitions and unexpected events can overwhelm or destabilize the best of us and it's important that you can trust your therapist to be a steady support through your journey to wellness. I enjoy working with college students, young adults, career women, empty nesters, and anyone looking to find their identity. Let's see what your life story has to teach us! I have over a decade of experience in mental health crisis, suicide ideation, and stabilization for adults and youth. I have lived experience with first responders and healthcare. My trauma informed practice uses a combination of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Center Theory, Attachment Theory, and Feminist Theory. I engage creatively with my clients to find what works, adding humor and irreverence when it works! I’ll show you kindness, provide insight, and encourage you to advocate for yourself and explore narratives that no longer serve you, while also challenging thoughts and behaviors that contribute to your distress. I'm excited to meet you! If you don't see a time that works for an initial consultation, please feel free to contact me via phone or the envelope icon at the top and bottom of the webpage.
