Welcome! I enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds and provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where we can develop a trusting relationship. With my professional experience comes a deep understanding of how trauma, relationships, and culture can influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am passionate about helping others overcome these obstacles and take action in their lives. Major life transitions and unexpected events can overwhelm or destabilize the best of us and it's important that you can trust your therapist to be a steady support through your journey to wellness. I have over a decade of experience in mental health crisis, suicide ideation, and stabilization for adults and youth. My trauma informed practice uses a combination of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Center Theory, Attachment Theory, and Feminist Theory. I also have a mini Goldendoodle for animal-assisted therapy. I engage creatively with my clients to find what works, moving closer to lasting peace each session. I’ll show you kindness, provide insight and encourage you to advocate for yourself and explore narratives that no longer serve you, while also challenging thoughts and behaviors that contribute to your distress. Let's see what your life story has to teach us! If you don't see a time that works for an initial consultation, please feel free to contact me via phone or the envelope icon at the top and bottom of the webpage.
