I work with individuals, couples, and families—broadly defined—who feel stuck or lost, and who aspire to re-orient, change or shift something about themselves, their days, their relationships and their world. It is often hard to identify how our ways of thinking, behaving, and relating to others are self-defeating, or causing us pain. I integrate psychoanalytic depth-oriented and relational approaches to help you slow down so that you can encounter and identify what conscious and unconscious dynamics are impeding your flourishing. As a therapist, I understand that change and transformation require patience and also compassionate holding, and that what might work to support you on one day might need to change the next. I offer to meet you warmly and authentically, with curiosity and compassion. We will work together with you where you are, as you are, and as you change and learn how to become who you want to be.
