I work with thoughtful, creative, over-functioning adults who look capable on the outside but feel internally strained, restless, or disconnected from themselves. Many of the people who come to see me are successful in their work and relationships, yet sense that something essential is missing, muted, or under pressure beneath the surface. People often reach out when insight alone hasn’t brought the relief they hoped for, or when they are tired of performing competence while feeling privately overwhelmed, stuck, or depleted. My approach is relational and psychodynamic, grounded in careful listening. I pay attention not only to what is being said, but to patterns, emotional rhythms, and what emerges between us in the room. Therapy with me is not about fixing or optimizing you, but about creating enough safety and curiosity for deeper understanding and change to unfold over time. Working together often involves making sense of long-standing patterns, unspoken expectations, and internal conflicts that have become exhausting to carry alone. Therapy is a place where you can be honest without needing to perform or arrive at quick answers. Change tends to come not from pressure, but from being understood over time.
