Beñat is a psychotherapist who provides a safe and open environment in which clients can feel free to be themselves and be heard without judgement. He brings deep curiosity and respect for where the client is in their story and who they want to be in their next chapter. His approach invites clients to discover the many ways in which they make meaning of their experiences through language, body, and identity. Beñat’s approach to therapy is based in psychodynamic theory, incorporating elements of mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). He values what aspects of ourselves have gone unnoticed or omitted to make our stories legible to others. He has supported clients' exploration of a broad range of issues, including anxiety, navigation of queer identity, depression, past and present traumatic experiences and relational difficulties.
