Introduction

I believe the therapeutic process should be rooted in collaboration and empathy. I value cultural humility and strive to create an inclusive, non-judgmental space where lived experiences are respected. I focus on working with children and adolescents navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, and the effects of trauma. I enjoy supporting young clients and their caregivers in building emotional awareness, developing healthy coping skills, and feeling more confident expressing themselves at home, at school, and in their relationships. Together, we can identify authentic goals that align with your values while building confidence and resilience. I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #161284) with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. I have experience working with children, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. During my traineeship at Strength United, I provided individual, group, family, and in-home therapy for survivors of trauma and abuse, supporting clients through crisis, life transitions, and relational challenges. I have training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I integrate these approaches with other evidence-based practices to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. I am interested not only in how symptoms affect you emotionally and behaviorally, but also in how they show up somatically. As Carl Rogers wrote, “The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” Supervised by Alexandra (Lexie) Flores, MA, LMFT, ATR (#111588)
