Hello! My name is Ben Friday and I have been working as a therapist since 2017. I enjoy what I do and I love working with people on challenges with grief and trauma, along with issues related to their family of origin that continue to make life difficult. I believe in balancing use of the present moment and tapping into what we are experiencing 'right now' as well as understanding how our past influences us and healing old wounds. I use a variety of models/theories, but my favorites are humanistic/person centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Gestalt.
