Introduction

Supervised by Kimberly Harrington-Delgado, LPC-S, RPT-S, EMDR Approved Consultant (#68141) Beth integrates her PhD in art education—with research and practices that use art and creativity to learn mindfulness, and intra- and inter-personal effectiveness—with her work as a therapist. Beth's work is trauma-informed and she is trained in: AutPlay, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically-Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Play Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Substance-Abuse Treatment (MBSAT). She has experience working with people of all ages and with complex differences. Beth is also a Registered adult and youth yoga and mindfulness instructor. Please read this message from Beth: "When I graduated from high school, I wanted to be a therapist. However, life has many different paths, and it is only in my 50s that I am now finally pursuing that dream. With multifaceted experiences on my way to “growing up,” I understand the value of integrating various practices to meet the needs and goals of my clients. I am experienced and skilled in working with people of all ages (preschool thru senior) and backgrounds, and with neurodivergent children/teens in resolving challenges and building a toolbox toward living your best life. As an integrative mental health clinician, I weave evidence-informed neuroscience, mindfulness, movement, play, creativity, and trauma-informed approaches. I use EMDR with people of all ages, and for processing traumatic experiences—acute and chronic—beginning as early as prenatal, and chronic pain. I have advanced training in yoga and mindfulness, with experience teaching yoga and mindfulness in public and private schools, universities, and also to adults in various community settings. As the founder of Yogiños: Yoga for Youth®, I am the co-creator of an adult training program and on-demand school curriculum. As a single parent of 3 adult children, I have had my share of ups and downs. I am eternally grateful for those who have coached and supported me. I look forward to meeting you and/or your kids, and working together to prioritize your needs and goals to support and empower you and your family on your personal journey to healing and joy."
