Bethany’s work centers on identity, reinvention, and steadiness. She’s particularly drawn to working with women who hold a great deal of responsibility - those who appear composed and capable, yet feel unsettled beneath the surface. Before opening Becoming Counseling & Consulting, she worked in Higher Education, family systems, and complex relational environments. These roles strengthened her appreciation for structure, thoughtful reflection, and long-term growth. In therapy, she’s steady, curious, and direct without being rigid. She won’t rush you, but also won’t let you stay stuck in old narratives. Outside of her work, she’s a mother of three and understand deeply the layered nature of identity - how we evolve, shed, carry, and reclaim parts of ourselves over time.
