Introduction

I am a provisionally licensed counselor, and I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I use a variety of approaches to counseling based on the client's needs and their preferences. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)for increased emotional awareness and regulation, or Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma. When working with couples, I use the Gottman Method, which offers over 40 years of scientifically backed exercises to help you build a better friendship, increase trust and communication, or finally come to understand each other better when it feels like you are locked in the same pattern for unresolved conflicts. I offer a safe space to work through your difficult seasons of life, or to have a supportive ear when things feel overwhelming. Whether you're just beginning your mental health journey or you're familiar with the benefits of counseling, I look forward to working with you on your goals.
