Introduction

I work with adults who are carrying more than they let on, anxiety that won't quiet down, depression that feels like its normal in daily life, trauma that keeps resurfacing, or relationships that feel harder than they should. A lot of my clients come in saying some version of "I'm not happy," and often what's underneath that comes out as anger, frustration, and overwhelm. Anger at themselves, at people who let them down, at situations they couldn't control. I don't treat anger as a problem to eliminate; I treat it as information, and we work together to understand what it's protecting and how to move through it without it running the show. My approach blends DBT skills with some CBT, but mostly is a person-centered, humanistic foundation. That means we'll work on concrete tools for managing anxious thoughts, low mood, or emotional flooding, but I'm just as interested in who you are underneath everything... your history, your attachment patterns, the relationships that shaped how you connect (or don't) with others now. I bring both structure and warmth: practical strategies when you want them, and space to slow down and actually feel things when that's what's needed in a warm space. If you're an adult dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship and attachment struggles, especially if anger and frustration shows up as part of that picture, I'd like to work with you. Therapy with me is collaborative and honest; I'll never pretend to have it all figured out, but I will show up consistently and help you build a life that feels more like your own. **I accept insurances through Headway**
