Hi, I’m Bethany Schalm, LMSW. I work with teens ages 13+ and adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or simply feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are, feel genuinely heard, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each person’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. I especially enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and feel more confident navigating difficult emotions and experiences. I also have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and enjoy working with adolescents and their families when appropriate. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I look forward to learning more about you and helping you determine whether we might be a good fit.
