I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping others create change in their lives by feeling safe, supported, and seen. I am originally from Oklahoma but have lived in Texas for four years now. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Outside of work, my personal interests include hiking, reading, crafting, and spending time with my dog and cat! Those who know me would likely describe me as relaxed, goofy, creative, empathetic, and comforting. My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a space where clients can be their most authentic selves. As a therapist who only meets clients virtually, I specialize in working with older children, teenagers, young adults, and parents who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, ADHD, and many other challenges. I understand that no two people experience life the same way. Each client brings a unique story, set of experiences, and personal strengths into the therapy room. Because of this, I personalize my approach with each client, meeting them where they are emotionally and developmentally, and ultimately helping them move toward greater self-awareness, confidence, and resilience. For teenagers and young adults, therapy can provide a supportive environment to process one’s identity, friendships, educational or school pressures, family dynamics, and uncertainty about the future. I am passionate about working with these clients as habits, thought patterns, and decisions made during this period of life can alter a young person’s trajectory. I also love collaborating with parents on navigating the challenges of parenting while also providing guidance, practical tools, and individual emotional support. I believe working with parents is often the most effective and long lasting method in creating growth and positive change throughout the family. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through connection. I value authenticity, curiosity, and building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and respect. My goal is to help clients feel empowered to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. I know that seeking support can feel vulnerable. However, you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Therapy is a space to pause, reflect, grow, and reconnect with yourself and others in a deeper and more compassionate way. I would feel honored to walk alongside you in that process.
