Whether you are seeking support for yourself – or a parent seeking support for your child, tween, or teen – I’m glad you are here. We are not meant to go through life’s challenges alone. This practice is not your typical talk therapy. Emotions live in our whole body. Oftentimes we cannot access the emotional patterns driving our moods and behaviors through words alone. I offer an integrated therapeutic approach that may include art therapy, play therapy, somatic and sensory awareness practices, movement and yoga…as well as talking! Change happens when we have actual experiences that build new neural pathways. The whole-body practices I provide tap into broader aspects of our nervous system – our "felt sense" – so that we can experience ourselves and the world differently, resulting in a more flexible, responsive nervous system. As you develop a more responsive nervous system, you will be able to: heal your traumatized and wounded parts; develop more flexibility in your responses to situations; gain the skills and confidence to make it through life’s challenges; and have fun along the way! I am a licensed child and family psychotherapist (LMFT), registered play therapist (RPT), and registered art therapist (ATR). I like working with tweens and teens! And I enjoy supporting adults using creative approaches to therapy. I look forward to hearing from you. Send a message to set up a free consult.
