Introduction

Welcome, We're so glad you’re here! Bonfire Healing provides outpatient telehealth therapy with focus on complex mental health issues along with co-occurring issues including eating disorders, addictions, and maladaptive behaviors. We are a collective of trauma healing providers with the mission to promote health equity through increasing access to evidence-based trauma treatment while utilizing insurance benefits so that this care is both high quality and affordable to more people. Utilizing insurance benefits to support therapy, nutrition counseling, and mental health treatment ensures access to needed care and we encourage you to utilize your benefits. We are aware of the challenges clients can face when attempting to find mental health care with insurance billing and that this at times creates health equity issues. Our goal is for all our clinicians to be able to accept all WA state insurance as in network providers. We hope to build transparency in this process and below are our current statuses with Washington insurance. The process takes varying amounts of time due to differences in insurance companies’ protocols for processing new provider requests and sometimes isn’t available for varying reasons per insurance companies’ requirements. This list will be updated as changes occur. If you have any questions, please reach out and we will help in any way that we can. Currently: Premera BCBS and Lifewise - all clinicians can accept as in network providers. Regence BCBS - Bonnie can accept as in network provider. All clinicians in August or September 2026. Aetna - Bonnie and Alizée can accept as in network provider.. Catherine in the fall. Cigna - Bonnie can accept as in network provider. Cigna is on a hold until September, we expect all clinicians to be in network in October or November. United Health care/Oscar/Optum - Bonnie can accept as in network provider. We are attempting to work with them for all clinicians to be network, not yet approved. WA state Apple Health - In process, unclear exact timing though very likely sometime this summer. WA state Medicare - Bonnie can accept as in network provider due to their requirements. Tricare - In the works, please check back next month. Kaiser - If you have Kaiser insurance and would like to utilize our care as in-network please let them know. We have applied to them. We may be able to utilize a single case agreement with Kaiser for in network care, reach out for more details. If your insurance is not listed here, please reach out and we’ll look into for you. We are always open to figuring out how to become in network with your insurance; if we can, then we will!
