Introduction

Having a trusting and meaningful connection with your therapist where you can be yourself and know you are accepted and cared about is vital. It allows you to be vulnerable in facing what has happened to you or going through. This is also true for situations where you know you’re going to be doing hard things such as managing mental health symptoms, overcoming personal challenges, or adjusting your parenting practices. You may be navigating major life changes or want to break habits or patterns of behavior that no longer serve you and establish healthy ones. Maybe you have the desire to evaluate and improve relationships in your life. As a person who is also a daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, I understand the importance of each person's story. Like the resilient metamorphosis of the butterfly, each is unique and no one's process is the same. I pride myself in taking the time getting to know you and your story so that I can understand what is important to you, what is challenging you, and what your vision is for the future. Over the past 30 years of professional experience serving individuals, parents, families, and groups of all ages and backgrounds, I coined “Triple S” to describe how safety, security, and stability serve as the foundation for making lasting mental health and lifestyle changes. Without these essential needs met, the brain remains locked in survival mode, prioritizing immediate (or perceived) threats over long term growth and self-improvement. I named my practice Triple S because I believe it is the key that unlocks the way to transformation and overall well-being. My mission is to create a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space for you and/or your family to authentically reconnect with yourself and each other — to embark on a journey of self-discovery, understanding, and growth that will lead to the meaningful, purposeful, fulfilling life you desire and deserve. This transformative journey spans across all areas of life — home, school, work, interpersonal relationships, community, and in the therapy setting. We are all interconnected and have a desire for belonging. Encouraging and supporting others in achieving this in their lives and families is a privilege I take very seriously. I recognize that an important part of my role is to also empower and advocate for you in these other areas of life and sometimes through collaboration and coordination. I work collaboratively with my clients utilizing a variety of trauma-informed, person-centered approaches to address the unique needs of you and/or your family. Together, we will create a well-being treatment plan to guide our direction in therapy, checking in regularly on how things are going, and if adjustments are needed. I believe I have a well-rounded clinical background from working in the domestic and sexual violence field for over 8 years, a year as a medical social worker, and over 20 years serving in the public mental health system. I am credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Professional and have also served as a program developer, team leader, and supervisor throughout my social work career. These qualifications and experience allow me to pull from a robust clinical toolbox that includes evidence-based practices. Through a collaborative relationship and access to an equestrian facility, we hope to be able to offer the incorporation of horses in the future. Whether virtual or in-person, in an office setting or at the barn, my passion is to offer a variety of opportunities where not only are my client’s therapeutic needs being met, but it is through an approach that works best for them! Life is complicated and change is inevitable. Stress and anxiety often accompany life transitions. Seeking help from a professional is a healthy way of navigating it all if we are going to grow and realize our full potential. By connecting with me here you have taken the first step of being intentional in prioritizing your SELF. Please contact me for a free 30-minute consultation or schedule an appointment. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey of transformation & well-being. With hope, Brandi
