I believe healing happens in connection—and sometimes, the most powerful healing happens through play. I walk alongside children, teens, adults, and families who are navigating life’s hardest experiences—whether that’s adoption or foster care, the impact of abuse, family changes like divorce or separation, or the big emotions that come with trauma and stress. I have a special passion for supporting little ones ages 0–5, while also helping parents and caregivers strengthen relationships and find new ways to connect. My approach is gentle, creative, and body-based. Through my three-year Somatic Experiencing certification program, I’ve learned how to help people’s nervous systems find safety and resilience again. In our work together, I’ll invite you (or your child) to explore healing through play, connection, and somatic awareness—always at a pace that feels right for you. I also work closely with my colleague, Whitney Berg, to support families in a collaborative way. Together, we focus on whole-family healing—creating space for every member of the family system to be seen, heard, and supported in their unique journey. Beyond my therapy practice, I share what I’ve learned through trainings and workshops on trauma, brain development, ACEs, and caregiver support through MN Adopt and various other platforms. Teaching and supporting others in this way is another way I hope to spread understanding, compassion, and hope. Most of all, I want you to know: you don’t have to go through this alone. My hope is to offer a space where every part of you—or your family—feels seen, supported, and empowered to heal.
