I’m Breanna Wright, a licensed professional counselor. I became a therapist because I’m deeply interested in how people experience emotions, relationships, and meaning, especially in the context of stress and trauma. I believe most struggles make sense when we understand the environments and relationships people developed in, not as personal failures but as adaptations. I work with adults who feel stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or others, or caught in repeating relational patterns. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, identity questions, or major life transitions. I also offer sex therapy as part of my practice for clients who want support around intimacy, sexual concerns, or how trauma and attachment show up in their sexual lives, but it is not the focus unless it is relevant to your goals. My approach is trauma-focused, relational, and attachment-based. I use somatic and emotionally focused therapy to help clients understand their nervous systems, emotions, and relational patterns. My work is also grounded in person-centered and existential approaches, meaning therapy is collaborative, respectful, and focused on what feels meaningful to you. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy or surface-level fixes. We move at a pace that feels safe while working toward lasting, meaningful change. Clients often describe therapy with me as grounding, thoughtful, and deeply validating. If you’re looking for therapy that is honest, relational, and focused on the whole person, I would be glad to work with you.
