Yolotli Counseling was founded by me, Brenda, from a deeply personal place. As a first-generation college graduate and child of Mexican immigrants, I know what it can feel like to carry pressure, responsibility, and unspoken expectations while trying to build a life that feels true to you. I was born and raised in Pasadena as the eldest of three children, in a family shaped by hard work, resilience, culture, and deep care for community. My parents taught me the value of education, connection, giving back, and leading with kindness. Those values are at the heart of Yolotli Counseling. Yolotli Counseling is a therapy practice for young professionals ages 20 to 45 who are ready to feel more grounded, more whole, and more like themselves. I provide high-quality telehealth therapy for people within BIPOC and Latinx communities, especially first-generation college students, graduates, and children of immigrants who are navigating the stress of trying to hold it all together. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in people-pleasing or codependent patterns, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. They may be moving through depression, life transitions, burnout, or the weight of always being the strong one. My work is centered on helping you untangle those patterns with compassion and honesty so you can create a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and guilt-free. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, be real, and start choosing yourself without losing connection to the people and values that matter to you. You do not have to keep doing this all on your own. If you’re ready to feel more supported, more grounded, and more at home within yourself, I invite you to take the next step. Book your free consultation today and let’s see if Yolotli Counseling is the right fit for you.
