You are exhausted, overwhelmed, and restless. Daily life feels like an insurmountable task, and you find yourself unable to relax, make sense of what is happening to you, or get through to others. You deserve a way to clear your head, figure things out, and heal. I am passionate about crafting a space with you where you can rediscover your strengths, gain self-understanding, and take small but meaningful steps toward change. I work with teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, adjustment challenges, and relationship strain. I draw from evidence-based and experiential approaches, including cognitive and behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, and somatic engagement. I want to help you better regulate your nervous system, develop healthier patterns of communication to strengthen your relationships, and ultimately acquire practical tools for life. My clinical experience includes working with children and adults affected by trauma, including sexual and physical abuse and neglect. I am trained in Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman Therapy for couples (Level 1 and 2). My background teaching middle and high school music informs my work with students, educators, and families. I believe you are more than the problems bringing you to therapy. Whether what you carry is hidden or plainly visible, you are worthy of dedicated time and investment. I am here to help you learn, grow, and move forward with greater strength, confidence, and peace. As a Christian, I incorporate exploration of faith into the process by client request. I am a private pay counselor, meaning that I do not directly take insurance. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network coverage. Reimbursement is subject to insurer and plan. I provide sliding scale spots for clients in need of financial assistance. If something about my approach speaks to you, I encourage you to reach out. I provide a free consultation call to discuss your concerns and courses of action, and also provide referrals to other counselors when appropriate.
