Introduction

Your problems exhaust you, you feel emotional turbulence, and unable to relax throughout the day. You try your hardest to tread life's waters, yet it feels like an insurmountable task. You want a space to be understood, to figure things out, and to heal. I am passionate about crafting that space for you, in which you can recognize previous unrealized personal qualities and take small steps that yield big changes. I help teens and adults who feel inundated, be it in depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, or grief and loss, to find peace. Using evidence-based practices, I equip you with tools and support to address what is troubling you. I am informed in my practice by my experiences working with trauma in children and adults, including sexual and physical abuse and neglect. I have completed dedicated training in Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman Therapy. I use attachment based therapy to aid you in (re)discovery of your relational self. I am Christian, and I incorporate faith as an aspect of practice by request. I am a private pay counselor, meaning that I do not directly take insurance. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network coverage. Reimbursement is subject to insurer and plan. I provide sliding scale spots for clients in need of financial assistance. If something about my approach speaks to you, I encourage you to reach out. I provide a free consultation call to discuss your concerns and courses of action, and also provide referrals to other counselors when appropriate.
