Introduction

I became a therapist because I believe people—kids especially—deserve a place where they can be exactly who they are. My work centers on children, families, parents, and moms navigating their postpartum period, and I aim to bring the same warmth and steadiness to all of them. With children, I lean into play therapy. Kids don't always have the words for what's happening inside, but they have their hands, their imagination, and their stories, and those tell us plenty. When trauma is part of the picture, I prefer to use Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), an approach that helps children and their caregivers process difficult experiences together, at a pace that feels safe. Families are also a big part of my practice. So much of a child's healing happens in the relationships around them, which is why I work closely with parents. In my work with teens and adults, I prefer a strengths-based approach to help untangle the thought patterns that quietly shape how each person feels and copes. I want to lean into what empowers each client to make positive changes in their lives. I also have a special place in my heart for postpartum moms. New motherhood can be tender, isolating, and far more complicated than the highlight reels suggest, and you deserve real support through it. If any of this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
