I was drawn to the field of therapy by a deep curiosity about how our personal and collective stories shape who we are. At the heart of my work is a commitment to fostering resilience and healing—especially for those navigating major life transitions, ongoing challenges, or the weight of systemic oppression. I believe therapy shouldn't require you to always have something major going on in order to have your needs met. Often times, the things we bring into therapy that feel small or miscellaneous are actually meaningful parts of a much larger mural of life. You deserve a space where those pieces can be explored, honored and woven together with care. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported—where you can move toward growth and a self-defined sense of well-being. I bring several years of experience working in a Residential Treatment Center (RTC), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). These settings have given me a strong foundation in supporting individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stigmatized, misunderstood, or stuck in environments that seem unchanging. In this work, I’ve learned that healing doesn’t come from the therapist alone—it comes from the trust we build together. My role is to meet you where you are, stay curious about what you need, and support you in challenging, learning, and loving yourself in ways you may not have thought possible. I practice with humility, empathy, and deep respect. I primarily draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when working with individuals and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples and families. These approaches allow me to understand and support the complexities of human emotion, behavior, relationships, and belief systems—while offering practical tools for meaningful change. I have experience working with Veterans, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of various faiths, culturally diverse communities, those who do not identify with aforementioned groups, as well as those living with chronic psychiatric diagnoses, always aiming to provide respectful, informed, and effective care.
