Having served this community for over 27 years, I've learned that the challenges that convince us to seek therapy comes down to trauma or loss, which results in grief, and shame about not being enough or somehow being someone the rest of society has chosen to marginalize. I have worked with survivors of trauma--sexual, familial, religious and institutional. And though my primary focus may be working with LGBTQ individuals, my practice is open to others as well. I honor the fact that it often takes great courage to take that first step to contact a therapist, but the truth is that most every client I have encountered has virtually all the answers to their perceived problem already. My role is to help remove the roadblocks to growth. I look forward to meeting with you.
