I stive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, knowing they will be met with empathy, respect, and without judgement. I believe meaningful therapy happens through strong, authentic connection, and I work to remain present and engaged while helping clients. I help clients reach their goals by combining insight and action. Together, we identify patterns, clarify what matters most to them, and develop a plan to work toward change and feeling better. I think about it as the client being the driver and I'm the GPS. We are in the car together, we set the destination together and I look for optimal routes. Our first session if of course filled with questions as I get to know you and your current situation but also an opportunity for you to get to know a bit about me, my style, and my energy. By the end, we will have a good idea of how well we fit together, what direction we hope to go, and the beginnings of a working therapeutic relationship.
