Bria is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern working toward licensure in the State of Nevada. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Born in Hawaii and raised within Filipino and Hawaiian cultures, Bria understands the deep importance of connection, community, and support during both life’s celebrations and challenges. Bria discovered her passion for mental health and therapy at an early age through her own experience as a client, where she witnessed firsthand the meaningful and positive impact therapy can have. Now, as a therapist, she is deeply passionate about offering that same sense of support, care, and empowerment to others as they navigate their own healing journeys. Bria works with individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood, as well as couples. She has experience supporting adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, depression, and anxiety, and strives to meet each client with compassion and understanding during these difficult moments. Bria also brings meaningful community-based experience, working closely alongside youth and their families in a holistic and collaborative way to address trauma, behavioral concerns, and family dynamics. She is deeply passionate about creating a safe, supportive space and walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through every season of life. Bria uses evidence-based approaches in therapy to support clients in processing trauma, gaining clarity, and moving toward meaningful and lasting change. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, working alongside clients to identify goals, honor their lived experiences, and build upon their existing strengths. Bria believes therapy should move at a pace that feels supportive and empowering, allowing clients to feel safe, understood, and confident as they navigate growth and healing.
